Get
the audience laughing:
Opening with joke always
lightens the mood of your audience and makes you relaxed. Having smile on your
face is like adding cherry to the cake.

Admit nervousness:
Don’t immediately start presenting
on the stage. Take a short pause, look at your audience, get yourself accustom
to their eyes.
Admit that you are
nervous speaking to your audience. Doing this will make your audience more
forgiving if your nervousness shows up later on. Moreover, you would feel relaxed.
As they are not expecting ‘World Class presentation’ from you.

Make mistake intentionally:
Sometimes making mistakes
intentionally helps you, after making any mistake you can immediately say that

Your emotion is the
connectivity between you and your audience. You need to be very expressive.
Often presenters lose their control if audience are not interested. Don’t do
that.

Your presentation can
include topic related videos, music, statistics or any such live examples that
your audience can get real picture about the topic of presentation.

Interact with your audience:
Time to time in between
your presentation, interact with your audience for a short while may be just by
asking questions or clearing their doubts. This will make audience awake and
they will find things interesting. You should also go for the query session
after your presentation.

List your difficult words:
Make list of difficult
words, that you are not comfortable with either you go for synonyms of it or
practice well. Check out their proper pronunciation.
